Ah Irish winter, and being part of you
we already feel you are part of us
we already see you as the planted seed
that the most beautiful flower will sprout from it.
While Italy was pondering Ireland began being reorganization and adaptation. In winter times when even the snow was part and that the days had only 7 hours of clarity, it was possible to perceive how much the climate can speak of a place.
In Dublin, where we are currently residents, people really smile less, but even on the coldest day, you can still see them in the streets and parks of the city. It will become part of your daily horizons, churches like medieval castles. The use of bikes here is advanced. The birds that stand out are of larger sizes like seagulls, crows and swans that totally change the morning sonority. Cats and foxes share the alleys and streets at dawn and the sturdy flora looks a little asleep but wait until the spring arrives and you will see it waking up quickly and exuberantly.
For those who don’t know Ireland was sighted by Celts 300 BC, which totally influenced both present-day culture and the first official language of the Republic of Ireland, the Gaelic. However, with the immigration on the rise in the Irish capital – Dublin - and other historical influences, English has become prevalent in large cities.
As in Italy, here in Ireland we also can’t expose our arts on the streets without prior authorization, so our exposure points have become the Markets and Psytrance parties, and here during the winter are much more common indoors.
And like anywhere in the world, the psytrance Family is wonderful. We were able to meet people who gave us the opportunity to present our work. Crews like Psychedellic Gaff, Oggy Psy Club Dublin, Pt Connection and Full Moon Psytrance until now.
As travellers we haven’t gone very far this season – and we confess, we miss it – but we took a short getaway for two days to Wicklow, where we met Bray, where we made a trail to the ’’Bray Head’’, a high point of the seaside town and also a little bit of the Wicklow Mountains National Park, where me know the biggest waterfall if Ireland with 121 meters and the Upper Lake.
And it was like that, during the long winter – which for us Brazilians can be considered the whole year here – even with negatives temperatures Ireland live and we live too. Between much work, focus, projects, exhibitions and dedication, we are now on the way to developing our first big decoration project in String Art here in Europe. In partnership with the Festival KNOCKANSTOCKAN.

PT - Inverno de Encontros.
Ah Inverno Irlandês o que faz você aqui tão perto Fazendo-nos nos sentir longe de casa ao ponto do coração chorar de saudades
Ah inverno Irlandês, mesmo com saudades o que faz você aqui tão perto nos apresentando suas belezas sem fim fazendo-nos tornar-se parte de ti
Ah inverno Irlandês, e sendo parte de ti já te sinto parte de nós, já te vejo como a semente plantada que dela virá brotar a mais linda flor.
Enquanto a Itália foi reflexão a Irlanda começou sendo reorganização e adaptação. Em tempos de inverno em que até a neve fez parte e que, os dias chagavam a ter apenas 7 horas de claridade, foi possível perceber o quanto o clima pode falar de um lugar.
Em Dublin, onde atualmente estamos residentes, as pessoas realmente, sorriem menos, porem mesmo no dia mais frio você ainda consegue vê-las nas ruas e nos parques da cidade. Se tornará parte do seu horizonte diariamente, igrejas como castelos medievais que particularmente achamos lindo. O uso de bicicletas aqui é avançado. Os pássaros que se destacam são de portes maiores como gaivotas, corvos e cisnes que mudam totalmente a sonoridade matinal. Gatos e raposas dividem os becos e ruas na madrugada e a flora resistente, parece um tanto quanto adormecida, mas espere chegar a primavera e à verá acordar de forma rápida e exuberante.
Para quem não sabe, a Irlanda foi avistada pelos Celtas 300 a.C., que influenciaram totalmente tanto a cultura hoje presente quanto a primeira língua oficial da República da Irlanda, o Gaélico. Porém, atualmente com a Imigração em alta na capital irlandesa – Dublin – e outras influencias históricas, o inglês se tornou predominante nas grandes cidades.
Como na Itália, aqui na Irlanda também não podemos expor nas ruas sem uma autorização previa, por isso, nossos pontos de exposição se tornaram os Markets (feiras) e as festas de Psytrance, sendo que, aqui durante o inverno são muito mais comum as indoors.

Como viajantes ainda não fomos muito longe nesta temporada – e confesso que faz falta, mas demos uma pequena escapada por dois dias até Wicklow, onde conhecemos Bray – em que fizemos uma trilha até a cabeça de Bray, um ponto alto da cidade litorânea e também um pouco do Wicklow Mountains National Park onde conhecemos a maior cachoeira da Irlanda com 121 metros de altura e o Upper Lake.
E foi assim, durante o longo inverno - que para nós brasileiros pode ser considerado o ano todo aqui, rsrs – mesmo com temperaturas negativas a Irlanda vive e nós vivemos também. Entre muito trabalho, foco, projetos, exposições e dedicação, estamos agora rumo ao desenvolvimento de nosso primeiro grande projeto de decoração em String Art aqui na Europa.
